  • Most in-person consultations take place in our office. However, there are times when a home visit is requested, or in the best interest of the family. In these cases, Travel Fees will apply based on location and will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

  • Yes! I am contracted with third party companies such as The Lactation Network and Cigna Wildflower Health that help provide insurance covered lactation visits. To find out if your insurance works with either of these companies, please fill out the contact form below!

  • If your insurance declines work with The Lactation Network or Wildflower for your coverage, I am happy to offer a discounted self-pay rate ($185 for initial visits, and $125 for 45min, and $85 for 30min). Payments may be made via card or HSA/FSA benefits. Travel convenience fees will apply to home visits.

After our visit, you will receive a Superbill, which serves as your receipt of payment. You may take this information to your insurance company and request reimbursement from them!

  • Diagnosing medical conditions are not within my scope of practice. However, I am TOTs trained and certified to assess oral anatomy of an infant and how the structures within the mouth affect function and feeding.

During our visit, I will assess latch (breast and/or bottle), positioning, signs of milk transfer, and perform an oral assessment. If the visit is virtual, the family will receive instruction on how to perform assessment under my guidance. Should there be any concerns, the family will be thoroughly educated and referrals to appropriate providers will be made.

A care plan will be formed with the family and close follow ups to ensure they are supported in their oral motor journey.

Still unsure if a consultation is right for you? Send me an email with your concerns and I will help guide you in the resources best for your situation.
